Hi Tommy & Des Brisay family! I just so happened to stumble upon one of your YouTube videos and it put a bigger smile on my face than something has in a longggg time. Tommy is such an inspiration and his happiness is truly infectious! Huge love from me here in Florida. I’m going to Disney on Saturday and I will definitely be keeping Tommy in mind while I’m there! 🙂
Hi Jasmin,

Have a magical day oxox
What was Tommy’s first words if u remember
He waved and said “Dye Dye” trying to say bye bye 🙂 Only occasionally. His first words were fleeting, they would happen but then disappear for a long time, years even. He also made sounds, beginning in his preschool years, like animal sounds, and “Whee!!” was one of his early words. He would say it when going down a slide, etc. It is still one of his favorite words 🙂 He also said “Go” “Up” “Hot” and a few other words, very very occasionally. He babbled but he didn’t say words clearly. He has dyspraxia, which means the motor control of his mouth had, and still has, much difficulty pronouncing words. He didn’t have any words that were names of objects of people until he was about 7 years old.
Before I watched your videos I was depressed because my mom was very sick and was close to dieing but when I watched your videos I started to smile and you motivated me and my mom and know she is not sick and loves watching your videos.
Keep running❗️❗️❗️❗️
