2013-

When Tommy heard that the Race Director from Run Disney would be giving him a guide (runner/cyclist) for the Half Marathon (Nov 9 at Epcot), he excitedly said “and his name is Aladdin?!?!”.  Tommy’s mom wrote about this on his facebook page.  The Genie must have read it, and told Aladdin and Jasmine about it!  And….then….THEY SENT HIM A VIDEO MESSAGE!!!!!!  🙂 🙂 🙂  So cool!!!!!

Then it was time for the Half Marathon!

Tommy was 9th of 12,000 runners, and 1st in his age category! Thanks to Seth Proctor, an amazing runner and 2016 Olympic Marathon hopeful, who guided Tommy! Seth- you were a friend at Tommy’s side, just what he needed to make this dream come true! With Mickey and Minnie at the finish line, and Allie, his Disney friend, there to greet him, it was a perfectly magical race. Thanks, Allie, and all the Disney characters who signed the card to congratulate Tommy. oxoxoxox We love you all.

Tommy’s last day at Disney, November 11, 2013, was soooo amazing! Allie, his Disney friend, came to hang out with him, and the Mad Hatter invited Tommy to come meet him at the car barn. (Did you see that video? The title is: Mad Hatter. Lumiere, Genie, Goofy, Minnie, Mickey, Baloo, King Louie meet Tommy before parade) That meeting, right before the Move It Shake It parade, actually brought us to happy tears.

Then, right after, Tommy watched the parade, danced, and was suprised by some special greetings at the end of the parade.

Like= Yah, I think Genie’s split jumps and the Mad Hatter’s crazy dance steps were definitely extra funky, just for Tommy 🙂
